Our Big Girl

Addison had her Six months check up, everything is great!! At 6 1/2 months she weighs 13lbs 4oz and is 26inches long. She is really skinny and long but she slowly is putting weight on. She loves her veggies and Cereal, but she dislikes fruit! I'm working on getting her to eat them, she can only eat about 3 spoonfuls until she cant take in anymore. The doctor told me to go ahead and start introducing meat into her meals. She is starting to laugh a little now, only to Brice though. She is such a daddy's girl! If Brice is at home Addison cannot take her eyes off of him it is so cute. She still sleep from 9pm till 8am, so I get plenty of rest. Just this week she is starting to get on her hands and knees. She cant go anywhere quite yet but its so cute to watch her try. This past Sunday was Addison first time going to church. I think she really enjoyed it, she was singing with everyone and kept singing even when the songs were over but I'm glad she tries. Addison is our happy easy going baby, and I feel so lucky!

Ok so its been along time since my last post but we have been really busy. After Brice got home we went to Texas and got Addison Baptized. Then when we got home we have to move apartments. Ive got alot of good pics to show everyone so im going to got right to the pictures.

Brice's ship got stuck in Seattle while a storm passed through. Now he will be home on Tuesday for sure!!! I took alot of pics of Addison to post so I hope everyone likes them.

Addison is now 3 months old and alot has changed. She is now sleeping in her own room and through the whole night. She eats between 5 and 6 oz. which is a big step for her. She still is pretty tiny but I think we finally moved on past the newborn clothes.

I took Addison to the doctor today for her 2 month check up. She got 5 shots poor little girl, she wasnt happy! She is now 8lbs 11oz and 22 inches long. She is a long and skinny girl!! I hope Brice will be home for her next appt. so I dont have to go alone.

Today was the halfway party for Brice's deployment. Just two more months until hes home!!!! It was a picnic out side with about 15 wives. These parties are never really big but its still nice to get out of the house. Here are some new pictures of Addison.

Weekend Updates

Its been awhile since Ive posted anything. Not too much going on here. Ive talked to Brice and he is not pulling into port at the end of this month. They are going to skip this one and go on to the next. Im hoping he will get in sometime in the first weeks of April so he can call home. Addison is doing good, she is starting to stay awake more during the day. Im having to find ways to entertain her. I usually take her out every other day, she love going for rides! Im going to take her next week to get her picture taken with the Easter bunny. I will buy the cd so I can post the picture for everyone to see. Well here is a picture of Addison for everyone to enjoy!

Well bad news, Brice cant log onto our blog page to update everyone at home. So I guess I will just keep yall updated. Hes just out on the ship right now on there way to the next port. I bet it will be a couple of weeks before he will be in port. I dont know what the next one will be yet because he is not aloud to tell me. Everything is going good here. Addison is getting better at sleeping during the night! Ive learned that letting her sleep in bed with me keeps her asleep alot longer. She is also taking naps in her crib all by herself. She just lays in there and I put on the cd NeNe & PaPa sent her, she just loves it. So thanks for the cd its a life saver!!!

Everything went great at the doctors today. Addison is completely healthy!!! She is now 7 lbs 1 oz she is getting up there. Im going to try to post some pics this time hopefully it works.

She sleeping on here toy during the day of course. My attempts to entertain her failed!

First weekend without Brice

This is the first weekend without Brice. It has been alot harder than I thought it would be. We are still working on our sleeping times!! Addison likes to stay awake at night and sleep during the day. Ive tried to keep her awake but once she out she doesnt wake up for anything except when its time to eat. We are going to the doctor tomorrow to see if her Jaudice is all gone which I think it is because she been taking formula for at least a week now. I cant wait to see if she gained any weight!! She is sooo tiny and doesnt fit into any of her new clothes I want to play dress up :) Brice is on his ship now the flight was long but good. I hope he can get on and update everyone on what he has been doing. Well i was going to put some more pics of Addison on but my free internet isnt being very nice. Maybe tomorrow!

Now we have one less... Brice has left for his deployment, thankfully it will only be for about 3 months. Addison and I will have to just be strong and look forward to homecoming. Rough Night

So last night was a little rough! We finally got Addison to fall asleep about 5 am but we had to wake up at 7am to take her for an ultrasound. We arrived there 20 mins late but they were nice enough to still see her. Everything is ok they were concerned about dimples on her back. She is completely healthy so we are very thankful!! I just hope we get more sleep tonight :)

We want to keep everyone included in our day to day lives since we our soo far away :( So the plan is while Brice is on the ship he can do his own post and let us all know how he is doing.
